UK Maths Challenge
United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Maths Challenges
Forest Hill School boys participate in the UKMT Maths challenges. The Challenges are of two kinds: Individual and Team Challenges.The UKMT Individual Maths Challenges are lively, intriguing multiple choice question papers, which are designed to stimulate interest in Maths in large numbers of pupils in KS3, KS4 and KS5.The UKMT Team Challenges promote mathematical dexterity, team working, and communication skills. They give our pupils the opportunity to compete against pupils from other schools in their region. Forest Hill School participates in the Team Maths Challenge (TMC) for pupils in year 8 and 9, and the Senior Team Maths Challenge (STMC) for pupils in year 11, 12 and 13. Our students keep improving in both challenges.
