Keep The Ball Rolling

A Multi-Lingual World Cup Music Video

Forest Hill students took part in the recording of a multi-lingual music video to celebrate the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa at the Emirates Stadium on 22 June.  Click on the arrow to play a short video of the recording.

The students are part of a group of over 250 students of French, German, Spanish and Portuguese who are participants in the Arsenal Double Club, a project that combines language learning with football.

They performed and sang "Get The Ball Rolling", written by Berlin musician Mark Scheibe, which contains verses in all the Double Club languages and also represents the five traditional languages of the South African national anthem.  You can listen to the song at the Goethe-Institut London website www.goethe.de/london

You can also see more pictures of the event at Arsenal.com.
